I always wanted to write. I was the one sitting alone with a pencil and a notebook writing poetry. My poems were deep, they reflected a hurt child, an angry teenager, a young girl in love, a mom, a lot of personal things. My friends used to come to me and ask me to write their boyfriend a poem and I would. It came easy, it came quick. I was the one in the English class all excited when the teacher said we had to write a 500 page story. I never was a writer - I was a storyteller and my stories did many different things for me. 1. They took me on journeys. 2. They made my fantasies or my dreams come true if only on pages. 3. They allowed me to be someone I wanted to be. 4. They made people in my head come alive.
As a kid I wanted to be singer. Then it was a valet for one of the Von Erich’s. Oh I loved the Von Erich’s. I was a quiet kid, loved to dream and escape a messed up world. My sister, Debbie, and I were diehard Von Erich fans and our walls were covered from top to bottom with their pictures. Some of my earliest experiences with death were with the tragedies of their story. One of the biggest heartbreaks in my life was Feb 18, 1993 when Kerry Von Erich committed suicide.
As an adult I am a definite work-a-holic. I love being a nurse. I am not just a nurse I am a hospice nurse and nothing is more satisfying than being with someone when they go home to their Lord and Savior. I have seen these people reach for Angels. It is amazing. I can feel their presence and it is indescribable. Dealing with this daily is sometimes reflected in what I write.
I’m married, I have three boys and I currently live in Texas. I love watching my boys play football and watching my oldest son in the marching band. And of course I love to write.

Favorite Authors: I have met many authors in my journey as an author. Some of my favorites:
Amie Stuart. Not only is she one of the best writers around she is a damn good friend.
One of my all time favorite Authors is Karen Marie Moning. Oh my God I love her Highlander Series. I would love to meet one of those men in a dark alley.
Robyn Carr's Virgin River Trilogy is the best and she is a very nice lady. There are so many talented authors out there that it’s difficult to just pick a few.

I have so many people that I owe thanks to:
~My grandma for teaching me the love of books. During the summer I spent weeks with her, my nose in a book. The first book I can remember is My Sweet Audrina by VC Andrews. From that day on I had to read everything by VC Andrews. I was hooked. Grandma had shelves and shelves of books. It has been ten years already since she passed. Wow, I loved her.
~My 10th grade English teacher, Mrs. Etheredge. She encouraged me to write and made it fun.
~Diane: My writing buddy...She keeps the fun in writing and always leaves me with a challenge.
~Stef: For believing in me and understanding my writing and how I feel about it. I write for me and I write deep. I can never be accused of being like everyone else.
~Amie: I just love her. She is so damn Amie. One of the best people you could ever meet. I have known her for a long time now and I just admire her spunk, her talent, her kiss my ass attitude and her will.
~Jenny: Just a positive person with such a good outlook. She is the mastermind behind the website and she is just a good person. We can talk for hours about everything or nothing and it's all good. We have a lot in common and are a lot alike. Ohhhh Scary!
~Debbie: My best friend and sister. She made so many of my stories come to life in my head. She and I shared so much and had so much fun. Debbie is one of the rare people who know the real me and sticks around anyway. Ha ha. Debbie is in my heart and she knows all my characters and who they really are.
